To foster a sense of contentment among students and deepen their understanding of poverty issues in Hong Kong, our school’s Community Youth Club (CYC) participated in the inter-school "Foodstep Journey" experiential activity. During the event, CYC members experienced firsthand the hardships faced by elderly people living alone who collect cardboard, as well as the challenges of living in sub-divided flats. Through these experiences, they learned to be content with what they have, and the importance of cherishing food.
