Lent is the season during which the Roman Rite of the Catholic Church observes 40 days of prayer and fasting in preparation for the great celebration of Easter. The number 40 carries deep symbolic significance in the Bible, as the Gospel of Matthew recounts that Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness before beginning His ministry.
With God's blessings and guidance, the Lenten Mass was successfully celebrated on 9 and 10 March 2026. We were honoured to welcome Rev. Nguyen Kim Son and Rev. Ignatius Lo as our guest celebrants. Through their reflections, they encouraged our students to face challenges and difficulties with faith and perseverance, following Jesus' example of carrying the cross and enduring suffering with love.
