21st September, Bangkok Debutant, Jovi Ma (Student in Class 5C), Tony Wong and Wu Siu Hong clinched Hong Kong's first medal of the 27th MWA Asian Tenpin Bowling Championships 2024 after finishing third in the Men's Trios event behind Malaysia and Korea winning the gold and silver medals.

In the Men's Team of Five, Jovi also joined the team and finished third behind Singapore and China.
